ESL allows you to use in your applications any of the fonts available to you. As fonts are not compiled into the Windows Easel Binary (.web) file, you must ensure all the fonts used by an application are installed on work-station that are expected to use the ESL Application. This restriction applies to True Type fonts, which are supplied by Microsoft and other third parties. The original fonts ESL supplied used bitmaps, and were contained within a single file "ESLFONTS.FON". There is a known issue with using the single font file containing multiple fonts, so as of version 17.10, new True Type fonts are supplied.This chapter provides information you will need to know when specifying and using fonts.
